Our Pre-Incubation Program is crafted to nurture those ideas at their earliest and most fragile stage. Whether you're a student entrepreneur, an aspiring founder, or an early-stage innovator, this program acts as your launchpad - guiding you from concept to clarity, and from curiosity to confidence.

This program is much more than just mentorship - it's a structured, resource-rich journey that enables you to refine your idea, understand your target market, evaluate feasibility, and build the foundations of a sustainable startup. We offer a safe space to experiment, fail fast, learn faster, and evolve your thinking with real-time feedback and expert guidance.
Entrepreneurship Bootcamp
A 6 week & 8 - interactive sessions, high-engagement program for students and faculty. Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 1.0 is a dynamic and immersive program, taught exclusively to ignite the innovation and entrepreneurial quotient of the participants.

It is designed for current SRM AP students, and faculty members who wish to specialize in turning ideas to ventures , make a difference in the society, and develop real-world skills and prototypes while enjoying their academics.
​
The program will be held at the SRM AP “Hatchlab Research Centre”, a vibrant hub for venture builders and innovators. Evening & weekend sessions include workshops and other engaging activities, giving students the opportunity to gain experience in entrepreneurship and connect with the startup ecosystem.

The classes are well structured and loaded with world-class case studies, practical applications and live interactions with industry and business mentors.
​
SRM AP students can earn a minimum of 2 university credits, upon successful completion of the program, all participants will receive certificate of completion along with the opportunity to make a direct entry to SRM AP’s Hatchlab Research Centre (HRC). Hatchlab Research Centre (HRC) will further provide the opportunity to get seed funding up to Rs.10,00,000 each to selected ventures and a host of other benefits.

EBC 1.0 serves as a pre-incubation bootcamp designed for the most promising ideas stemming from 200 initial enrolments. From this pool, 60 standout ideas were carefully chosen, and after rigorous refinement, 16 were ultimately selected for the final demo day pitch. Among these finalists, 10 emerged victorious, securing the prestigious 50k grand prize from the university.

The "Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 1.0" at SRM University, AP, aims to foster innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset. The 6-week program includes sessions on entrepreneurship, ideation, mentorship, university credits, and a Demo Day with a 50K prize grant.

Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 1.0 - Session 1
The meeting titled "What Traits & Characteristics Make a Successful Entrepreneur?" took place on February 20, 2024, with 43 UG students, 7 faculty members, and 3 internal participants. Prof. Siddharth Tripathy outlined essential entrepreneurial traits such as determination, adaptability, and creativity. The session provided valuable insights into the foundations of successful entrepreneurship, including resilience and effective networking.

Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 1.0 - Session 2
The "Refining of the Idea" meeting on February 27, 2024, involved 33 UG students, 2 faculty members, and 5 management participants. Prof. Siddharth Shankar Tripathy provided detailed feedback on each pitch presentation, focusing on enhancing startup ideas and guiding participants towards growth. The session successfully facilitated the refinement of entrepreneurial concepts, fostering innovation and improvement.Demo Day with a 50K prize grant.

Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 1.0 - Session 3
The "What is the Value of Your Idea" session, held on March 3, 2024, at SRM University AP, delved into evaluating entrepreneurial ideas. Led by Prof. Siddharth Shankar Tripathy, the session covered crucial topics including idea uniqueness, entrepreneurial strategies, and resource-based views. Participants gained insights into new venture marketing and metrics for measuring marketing success, enhancing their ability to value and develop their ideas effectively.

The "Working on a Business Plan for Your Venture" session, held on March 12, 2024, at SRM University AP, provided participants with essential insights into developing a robust business plan. Led by Prof. Siddharth Shankar Tripathy, the session emphasized the importance of crafting a dynamic plan that addresses market problems, includes comprehensive analysis, and appeals to investors. Attendees gained practical knowledge on articulating their vision, understanding entrepreneurial risks, and structuring their business plans to attract funding and support.

The session on "Business Model Canvas & Co-founder & People Development" on March 14, 2024, led by Prof. Siddharth Shankar Tripathy, offered insights on effective business models, co-founder relationships, and team development through the Business Model Canvas. Participants learned key business components, selecting co-founders, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 1.0 - Session 6
The "Business & Financial Plan Development" session on March 19, 2024, guided participants through essential financial planning concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue modeling. Led by Prof. Siddharth Shankar Tripathy, the session emphasized interpreting financial statements, utilizing financial tools, and applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. By the end, attendees gained the skills and confidence to create detailed financial plans, demonstrating their ventures' feasibility, scalability, and profitability.

​The "Investor Readiness-I (Pitch Development)" session on March 26, 2024, equipped participants with crucial skills for crafting a compelling pitch. Led by Prof. Siddharth Shankar Tripathy, the session focused on key elements like problem identification, solution proposal, market opportunities, and venture uniqueness. Through workshops and feedback, attendees refined their communication skills, learning to present their ideas clearly and persuasively.

The "Investor Readiness - II (Pitch Refining)" session held on March 29, 2024, focused on refining pitches for the final demo day. Under Prof. Siddharth Shankar Tripathy's guidance, participants enhanced their pitch presentations, resulting in 15 selected ventures for the final event on March 31, 2024. The session culminated in the refinement of ideas from various ventures, including Vascan Solutions, IntelliSense Technocrat Solutions, and Smart Ring Technology, ensuring they are well-prepared for investor presentations.

The grand finale led into the presentation to a panel of experts including domain specialists. The participants pitched their business to receive on-the-ground feedback on their progress and also received an in-depth assessment of their market readiness. This involved a B-Planning specialisation week followed by mock presentations and selected participants actually making the pitch on the demo day.

The "Entrepreneurship Potential Mapping & Ideation Clinic" on September 19, 2024, equipped 67 attendees with entrepreneurial skills. Led by Prof. Siddharth Shankar, the session emphasized decisiveness, resilience, networking, adaptability, and innovation. Participants explored frameworks, milestones, and customer-centric strategies to build a strong entrepreneurial foundation, gaining insights into vision, perseverance, and effective resource management.

The "Idea Sculpting" session of Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 2.0, held on September 24, 2024, guided 60 attendees in refining their startup ideas.
